On the 6th-10th of May 2019, Head of Library Kristina Blaževičienė through Erasmus+ staff mobility programme visited University of Granada (Universidad de Granada), Spain.

University of Granada (UGR) was founded in 1531, it is one of the largest universities in Spain. UGR offers high quality academic studies in a wide range of science fields: Social, Humanities, Health, Physical, Engineering, Technology, Art. University of Granada is the favorite destination for European exchange students (Erasmus +) and European leader in figures of both incoming and outgoing Erasmus students.

Head of Library Kristina Blaževičienė participated in the 15th UGR Staff Training Week. Over 160 participants took part in the event and 25 of them came to library track. During the International Week, the university’s central and faculty libraries were visited, relevant issues were discussed and good work practice was shared with UGR and other academic institutions’ librarians. UGR presented university library history, infrastructure, services and activities, quality management, the supply of information resources, also it was discussed about library information system ALMA implementation in Spain.

Participation in the staff training week was useful for new international experience, acquired knowledge, discovered ideas, new acquaintance and contacts, that will be useful for further cooperation.
