From the 7th to 26th of October, the Inconvenient documentary film festival returns to the screens. Each year, the carefully selected films tell true stories about real lives – from world-changing inspirational people to incredible and controversial events. The films can be seen not only in cinemas and online, but also by joining free screenings at nearly 300 libraries in Lithuania, including the libraries of Vilnius College faculties.
Viewers will be able to enjoy the films in two ways at the libraries: individually on library computers or by participating in group screenings. For individual viewings, simply come to the faculty library, sit down at a computer, and use the login provided by the staff to connect to the online cinema. However, if watching films alone is not as interesting and you want a shared cinema experience, the library, together with Inconvenient Films, invites you to screenings that will be joined simultaneously by a network of Lithuanian libraries participating in the festival. After some of the film screenings, there will be discussions with interesting speakers.
